SVG stands for Standard Vector Graphics. This means that this view is scalable and can be viewed without distortion at any size.
This is a horizontal view which is unlike any other view choice that is situated vertically. It is organized chronologically from left to right to see how each chain plays out. There is one instrument per column. You have the ability to look at a single conveyance and how it affects the flowchart.
SVG View
Click on a document along the bottom of your screen and it will center the flowchart where that document occurs in the chain of title.
The documents along the bottom will coordinate with the notecard information - labeling it as a conveyance, lease, assignment, event (when an inactive date occurs in a lease), NPRI 8/8 etc. This is helpful in creating a big picture idea of what is occurring in your working area.
Double-click the document to have it open on the left-hand side of your screen.
Slide the blue bar to move through the flowchart in time.
The documents along the bottom have the book/page and date shown for each instrument entered.
Every party has a date associated within the flowchart to see when the next transaction occurs.
Characteristics
Solid Black Line
The party is receiving something from the previous transaction.
Dotted Black Line
The party still has something from a previous transaction.
Dotted Gray Line
The party has assigned everything away.
Thin Beige Moccasin Line
The party participated in a previous conveyance but not one immediately following the new document. The end of the line has a date that tells you where the next appearance is in the flowchart occurs.
Solid Moccasin Line
Follows the party with the largest ownership.
Strangers are listed on the left side of the screen where the flowchart starts.
Click AOI settings icon
Select "Show All Strangers"
Now you see blue dates next to the party name to indicate where in the flowchart they appear.
Flags, Assumptions, and Reversions appear above the instrument.
These correspond to the color of documents on the bottom of the view.
Party names are the same as in other views.
One exception: Checkmark appears next to their name when they’ve been marked finished under a review.
Accessing the Context Menus
This view does not have a hover feature so it does not disrupt scrolling across the screen.
Right-click on parties to have interest information appear and the option to prune the flowchart.
Right-click instruments to get more context.
This works for instruments in the flowchart or instruments along the bottom of the screen.
Treehouse Feature
Right-click document and select "show all".
This shows all of the current owners for that point in time for the section selected.
Helpful Tip: If you use Tracts with an extended screen, Tracts might appear that part of the chain is cut off if you are working between the two monitors. Refresh the page and the apparent break will go away.
